Jefre C. Outlaw has traveled around the world 3 times to 96
countries, 250 cities and 500 sacred sites.

A patch for every country visited

At the Meet Plan Go travel networking mixer on Oct. 16th (Austin, Tx), Jefre gave his keynote address entitled, “Camping with Cannibals: Food for Thought”.  Jefre began his presentation sharing photos of his adventures:

In 28 months, Jefre has seen some amazing places on this earth. Here are just a few photos from Jefre’s collection.

Czar's Winter Palace

Georgia, Russia, the disputed border

Mekong River - Vietnam

His visit to a cannibal tribe in Papua New Guinea in the South Pacific might be his most fascinating adventure of all.  They are reformed cannibals which means a change in diet preferences! Jefre explained that cannibals kill and eat their enemies in order to consume the energy of the enemy. Since this tribe has not been at war for more than 30 years, Jefre felt fairly safe that he would not be eaten during his visit.  He pointed out that women do all the work and the tribe has had no contact with the outside world.

Meet Plan Go‘s purpose is to be the leader in the career break movement. MPG encourages and teaches you how to travel the world while making that travel beneficial to your career. They envision a world where the term ‘career break’ is a part of your overall career strategy.

So, stop promoting your status quo….get out there and let travel obliterate your fear of the world.

I’ll leave you with a quote from Hilaire Belloc: “We wander for distraction, but we travel for fulfillment.”
